DUTCH MANTELL

From Murfreesboro, Tenn.

About Dutch Mantell gained prominence in front of a worldwide audience in the 1970s and '80s during lengthy feuds with Jerry Lawler and others in Memphis and across the Southern U.S. Later in his career, Dutch appeared with WWE, WCW and TNA in a variety of roles, including as a wrestler, manager and color commentator, as well as behind the scenes as a producer and creative director. Dutch is widely credited with helping mold many of the top stars in WWE and TNA early in their careers, and he's the author of two successful books — "The World According to Dutch" (2009) and "Tales From a Dirt Road" (2010).

Dutch was scheduled to be a special guest at our Feb. 23, 2013, event, but he reached an agreement to return to WWE in early February. He will appear at a future Nashville Pro Wrestling event.
